Both these newspapers are iconic news publications in their respective cities, and are both published by Bennett Coleman & Co. Ltd., a media publishing organization that is better known as The Times Group.

Both the newspapers Mumbai Mirror and Bangalore Mirror are high quality English language news publications that command a large, loyal and engaged readership in the respective cities of their publication. In this blog, we take a look at both of them in greater detail.

Mumbai Mirror is a Mumbai based English language newspaper that was launched as a daily newspaper in 2005, and it operated as a daily newspaper until December 2020, after which it was made into a weekly newspaper. Even though Mumbai Mirror is no longer a daily newspaper, it is still one of the most renowned and respected English language news publications in Mumbai. Before it became a weekly newspaper, it is estimated that Mumbai Mirror had a circulation of more than 7,00,000 copies of the newspaper on any given day.

Bangalore Mirror is a Bangalore based English language newspaper that was founded in the year 2002. It was originally founded as Vijay Times by Vijayananda Printers. In the year 2006, Vijay Times was taken over by Bennett Coleman & Co. Ltd., along with its sister publications. The newspaper was renamed Bangalore Mirror in the year 2007 and relaunched with its new name. As of today, Bangalore Mirror is a hugely popular English language newspaper in Bangalore, and is the second-most widely circulated English news daily in the city.
